As we have discussed, the answer to the lies that people love to believe is truth, and truth is found in the person of Jesus Christ. America was once built on this truth and as such was considered a “Christian Nation” and as such America was “Great”. This has changed and America has abandoned being “Great” and instead is merely “Powerful”. This all began with those that have been telling us the lies we love to believe.

Oligarchies and Monarchies have hated the American republic from the beginning because if America, her people and her form of government survived then they would be out of a job. Many forces joined together to destroy America but, without success. In her early days America succeeded, and because of her success almost all the countries of the world have made some type of effort to model their form of government after our American form of government. Most of these Americanized models fail because their people are not Christian. So, if America is to be destroyed the she must be de-Christianized. The destruction of America advocates had only to press for and wait until an internal de-christianization of America began to take effect.

Today America is not a great nation. She is powerful, but she is not a great nation. Probably the number one and largest contributing factors to America’s de-christianization and it subsequent down fall was the government school movement led by Horace Mann (1796-1859) in the first half of the 19 century. Mann hated Christianity and wanted the church to stop educating and was successful in convinced his American audience to do just that. Education Mann argued, could best be accomplished by the state and not the church. Prior to Mann almost everyone in America was well educated and all education was non mandatory and was church business.

I will discuss more on Mann and some of the very expensive costs of his system in my next bog entry.

According to a recent press release by the Organic Trade Association, U.S. sales of organic products, both food and non-food, reached $24.6 billion by the end of 2008, growing an impressive 17.1% over 2007 sales despite tough economic times.

While the overall economy has been losing ground, sales of organic products reflect very strong growth during 2008. “Organic products represent value to consumers, who have shown continued resilience in seeking out these products,” said Christine Bushway, OTA’s Executive Director.

We can verify that this trend continues here in 2009 by looking at our how well Azure Standard sales have been though the Utah and South Idaho route. Every year for the past 5 years more and more people have discovered that buying natural organic whole foods makes sense both for our health and our pocket book.

Organic foods keep our families healthy and keep us away from the expensive doctors and dentists that are happy to take a big chunk of most families monthly income. See Michelle Stewart’s article on Healthy Living in the spring issue of the Harvest Source Whole Foods Journal, and I believe you will be convinced.

All you have to do is go to the home page www.HarvestSource.com and fill out your name and e-mail and after you confirm you will be e-mailed the link to the digital version of the magazine. Or if you are a www.AzureDelivery.com customer make sure you ask for a magazine when you go pick up your Azure Standard order this month.
