As I mentioned in my last blog entry, Horace Mann (1796-1859) was a man of great passion to establish a non-sectarian (really a Non-Christian) government education system. Horace Mann’s success in establishing strong government education systems is the foundation that has slowly turned America from being a great nation to just another powerful empire.
Horace Mann with great passion and persistence set about to change a nation and a Christian system that had created the newly established “Christian” federation of states called “The United States of America”. The system that existed was “Christian” “Sectarian” education, and Horace Man lobbied for a government “non-sectarian” system. Mann succeeded in the North but not in the South. Mann proposed the cost for this “educational state” was to be financed by property owners in the form of a property tax levied upon every property owner. Mann insisted that if a property owner would not participate then his property should be taken away. This is nothing less than state empowered theft. The people were empowering the state with the power of coercion (a robbers gun in the hands of the state) to steal money from their neighbor to pay for their own children’s education.
This “get something for nothing” scheme succeeded and today no “property owner” in America owns their property, but rather is a tenant to the government. They think it is theirs, but they are merely tenants on state owned land. If a “property owner” fails to pay the property taxes he will be evicted and a new tenant will take his place. Freedom is always expressed in property ownership. If we are slaves we own nothing, on the other hand if we are free we own everything we possess. As America shed itself of Christ they were no longer free indeed and that loss of Christ was expressed in the loss of their own property. After the cotton states lost the war of northern aggression, commonly called the “civil war”, this same bankrupt Mann style of government school was forced upon the Southern States.
Just prior to the end of Mann’s life, darwinian materialism made its day view in the mid 19th century just prior to the civil war and probably would have come to nothing if de-christianized government school movement had not already begun to pull America down. De-christianization ultimately led to the civil war, and was probably the second largest tool, behind the government school movement, which was used to bring destruction to what our Christian founding fathers gave us.
Let me know your thoughts by making comments below, and I will talk about who is the God of America today in my next blog entry.
